Ever wonder what others think about your blog? I know I do and so does one of our curious reader: Danie B of What Will She Wear. Diana is an aspiring journalist who happens to also love fashion, photography, food, and life- and that is exactly what her blog is about. So, go on and take a look at her blog to see what inspires her.
After reviewing her blog,
Here's what I like:
-Great photos. Very clear
-Great photos. Very clear
-background-a little dark, but it's different so I like it.
-Signature at the end of each post
-Great start on the 'about me' section.
-Cute blog name
Here's what I think she can improve on:
-Move Pageviews counter down to the bottom
-List links of the items you are showcasing. This will make it easier for readers to find if they want to buy the same outfit/accessories.
-The banner is too simple.
-Add follow me buttons: twitter, instagram, etc. It's much easier to click and add than to have to type in the web address (ex. twitter) and then have to find you.
-The 'About Me' section is off to a great start. However, you need to let your readers know what your blog is about.

My two cents on What Will She Wear:

- The background picture is great
- Posts have many photos, that's nice
- Well written posts, a must for a blogger
What I don't like:
- Semi transparent secondary background, makes it hard to read the text sometimes
- Center alignment of texts, not a fan
- Confusing social network links, maybe use icons or buttons
- Photos of different widths, specially the landscape ones should be the same

I think Danie's blog is off to a strong start! The first few months are tough, you are trying to figure what to feature, experimenting with layouts, and topics to blog about. For the most part, she has done a good job with the layout, but I would suggest trying to increase the width...atleast on my laptop the sidebar is overlapping the actual blogpost. I agree the social network links is a bit hard to follow so I would suggest the use of icons/buttons.
